Access and Inclusion Statement
Tamworth Cabins and Caravan Park welcomes guests of all ages and abilities, and aims to give accurate information so visitors can plan with confidence.
Getting around the park
The park is flat and on one level. Guests can drive to the door of every cabin and site, and there is open parking beside each. Paths between cabins, the amenities blocks, pool and camp kitchen are sealed or firm grass.
Cabins
Some cabins have level or near-level entry and are reachable in a wheelchair. Most cabins have a few steps to the door. Guests who need step-free access should ask for the budget cabins when booking, as these offer the easiest entry.
Bathrooms and amenities
No cabin has a purpose-built accessible bathroom. Toilet and shower facilities for people with disability are located in the amenities block.
Assistance animals
Assistance animals are welcome throughout the park.
Before you book
Access varies between cabins, so guests with specific needs are asked to phone the office on (02) 6760 9356 before booking. Staff will describe the actual cabin, its entry and its bathroom so guests can decide whether it suits them. The park cannot guarantee that a particular cabin or facility will meet every requirement.
